Management Team
Joe Wilson, President
Joe brings eighteen years of experience in software development and has managed
successful projects for several large organizations, including 3M, Dell, TXU, JC Penny,
and the State of Texas. Joe's roles on projects range from developer to team lead
to project manager.
Joe graduated cum laude with a BA from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas in 1991. His development skills have changed to keep pace with the market, going from SAS in the early 1990s, to Microsoft Access to Visual Basic and ASP in the late 1990s, and to C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server in this century. His latest project tools have centered around the Austin school of Alt.NET: C#, ASP.NET MVC, LINQ, jQuery, NHibernate, StructureMap, NUnit, Rhino Mocks, and AutoMapper.
Joe spends his free time with his wife, Darien and children, Zoe and Clark. He also enjoys spending time outside hiking, biking, camping, and trying not to get hurt playing basketball.
Darien Wilson, Vice President
Volare is the second company Joe and Darien have co-founded. Volare is Darien’s
next venture after seven years as President of ZoloWear, Inc. With a passion for
babywearing and a knack for marketing, Darien started ZoloWear at her kitchen table
and cultivated it into to an internationally recognized brand.
Darien and Joe met at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where Darien graduated with a slightly higher GPA than Joe.
