Supplemental staffing
Supplemental staffing is combining your full time project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers with ours. Sometimes you're just a little short handed and have to make a launch date. Sometimes you need to replace someone on your dev team with someone with more experience. Sometimes a new technical skill is needed that your full time staff doesn't have. If you're looking for a rock star, you've come to the right place.
Many of our customers supplement their current dev team's technical skills with consultants. This provides a good mix of full time and contract help to bring in extra resources for major software development efforts without the risk of the consultants leaving when the project is over and taking all of their knowledge with them.
This arrangement also allows the business to keep a full-time core team to meet the ongoing needs of the business and just augment as needed without taking the risk of adding more full time staff. Most of our customers using the supplemental staffing model pull funds from OPEX rather than CAPEX budgets.
What you can expect from us
We will suggest best-practices for software development and provide technical mentoring to your staff so they are stronger developers once we're gone. We can work in waterfall or agile environments, but most of our developers prefer agile teams.
We can spearhead projects that are struggling for political reasons and deliver because, as consultants, we are not burdened by the politics of your organization. We have the luxury of being able to focus on executing on the project at hand. Alternatively, we can blend into your team and simply provide inidividual contributors.
We will not steal your code, intellectual property, or best employees. We will not show up with a large account team that doesn't seem to do anything but bill hours.
